Dentists

Dr. Andrew Kalli

BDS (Hons) MSc (Oral Surgery) MCGDent

Andrew qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital with Honours and Distinction in Clinical Dentistry. He is passionate about his work and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest techniques, often travelling nationally and internationally for courses. In 2018, Andrew passed the postgraduate exam admitting him membership to the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has completed a Master’s qualification in Oral Surgery. As part of this, he has experience removing some of the trickiest wisdom teeth within and outside of the hospital setting.

Andrew is popular with nervous patients as he prides himself on ensuring that each dental visit is a positive experience. He has a particularly minimal and respectful approach to managing patient’s dental needs. For advanced procedures, Andrew is qualified to offer IV sedation which allows many aspects of dentistry to be done in a particularly comfortable and safe manner.

Being able to smile is life-changing. Andrew’s priority is for all his patients to be able to smile, chew and speak confidently. Andrew is prepared to boost a smile’s current beauty following further training in facial aesthetics and skin rejuvenation. Anti-wrinkle injections are offered as part of his daily practice.

Andrew reports a charity trip to Tanzania, Africa as one of his career highlights. During this 2 week project, the group of volunteers provided free dental treatment to children with dental decay in primary schools across two parts of the country.

Outside of dentistry, Andrew enjoys running and spending quality time with his young family.

Dr. Bal Jalf

MDDr, PgCert (Resto), MSc (Endodontics)
Baldeep (Bal) completed his dental training in 2010 from the 1st Faculty of Medicine in Prague and spent six years practising in Wolverhampton and then ten years at a multidisciplinary practice in Derbyshire.

Bal is deeply committed to helping patients keep their natural teeth whenever possible. He has developed advanced restorative skills that allow him to rebuild and save teeth that might otherwise be considered beyond repair. After completing a three-year Master’s degree in Endodontics, Bal can accept both in-house and external referrals for more complex root canal cases.

Bal is known to have a very calm and caring nature, ensuring patients feel at ease throughout their treatment. Bal is incredibly passionate about giving back through voluntary dental work. Each year, he travels to Greece and joins a refugee camp, providing essential dental treatment to those who may otherwise have no access to dental care. He finds these voyages deeply meaningful and humbling. Being able to help people during such difficult times is both rewarding and inspiring, and he feels truly grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives.

Outside of dentistry, Bal is kept on his toes by his exuberant twins and loves keeping active at the gym, out hiking or through Thai boxing. He loves experimenting and cooking different cuisines and never comes without something exciting for lunch – along with a new recipe to share.
